Diamond Turning Machine Operator

Ideal candidate will be hands-on individual with experience in diamond turning. Proficiency with Precitech/Moore machines, machine programming, and optical test equipment (interferometer/Talysurf). Experience with military optical systems and assemblies is a plus.

Sr. Optical Engineer
OASYS Technology is seeking candidates for a Sr. Optical Engineering position. Candidate must be proficient in lens design software. Knowledge of ZEMAX™ or OSLO™ is a plus. Familiarity with optical component mounting and assembly is required. Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and optical testing appropriate for prototype through production quantities is a must.
- Typical duties associated with this position will include the following:
- Original design of passive and active optical systems
- System analysis (utilizing various sensor modeling packages)
- Project management
- Assembly and test assistance
- Proposal and customer review support
Mechanical Engineer
OASYS Technology is seeking candidates for an opto-mechanical engineering position. Candidate must be proficient in solid modeling and knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus. Familiarity with optical component mounting and assembly is required. Knowledge of manufacturing techniques appropriate for prototype through production quantities is a must.
Typical duties associated with this position will include the following:
- Original mechanical design for optical systems
- Mechanical analysis (Finite Element) to determine flexural modes and displacements
- Mechanism design for zoom and field of view change systems
- Detailed component drawings, assembly drawings, and design documentation
- Machine shop interface and support
- Assembly and test assistance
- Proposal and customer review support
Candidate to be a hands-on individual with: BSME with a minimum of 5 years experience. Proficiency with solid modeling and FEA, experience with military optical systems, knowledge of machining and experience prototyping opto-mechanical systems.
